Hi, I’m Izzy! I am a UK-based tutor and a Durham University Chemistry graduate with a passion for helping students unlock their academic potential. Whether navigating early IGCSEs or tackling the rigors of A-Levels, my goal is to transform daunting subjects like Maths and Chemistry into enjoyable, confidence-building experiences.
My teaching approach is highly personalized. We typically start by breaking down topics to create clear, colorful notes, followed by working through practice questions together to ensure full understanding. I strongly believe the classroom should be a safe space where there are no ‘silly questions.’
Communication is key to my process. After every lesson, I send parents a progress summary and a PDF of our interactive whiteboard to keep everyone in the loop. Outside of tutoring, I’m incredibly friendly and love baking, reading, art, and spending time in nature.
